“Whenever I sign up for an Ann Steiner course I know she's going to deliver an amazing comprehensive packet that she has extensively developed and delivers with such a passion.”
Wendy Brown, MFT San Francisco, CA
“I am grateful to you for your workshop and for making me aware of the importance of the Professional Will.
I update the entire document every year, incorporating changes in my schedule, new passwords,  deleting patients whom I no longer see, and so on.  Every year, when I give the updated documents to my office mates who had agreed to be "first responders" say something like, "I really know I should do something like this.  I am going to. "  But they haven’t (yet)”
George Saiger, M.D., Rockville, MD.

Description: How to Begin Your Own Therapist's Professional Will:™

COVID continues to be a wakeup call and reminder that we all, regardless of age, health and socio-cultural location, need to have backup systems in place. A Therapist's Professional Will™ spells out your wishes for the continuing care of your patients in your absence.  The concept resonates with helping professionals, but the prospect of putting one in place is daunting.  By completing such a will you will have done everything possible to assure the continuity of care for your patients, will have given yourself peace of mind and reduced the trauma for family and friends.  This keynote presentation gives you the tools to start your own Therapist's Professional Will.
